Variety the Children’s Charity has committed over $125,000 over the past three years in Tasmanian's hospitals as well as investing in a diverse range of community support activities.

In 2006 Variety Tasmania contributed over $100,000 to the upgrade of the much anticipated adolescent ward at the Royal Hobart Hospital, a state of the art ward for  Tasmania's youth to recuperate in.

Last year Variety Tasmania pledged $25,000 to the Playground Rescue Appeal for the Launceston General Hospital.

The new playground was unveiled in April of this year and ensures children are able to recuperate in a first class playground, providing enjoyment and play in safe and secure surroundings.
